In this pattern, you’ll learn one pattern, that can be applied in two ways: As a bolero top, or as a shrug.

One pattern to crochet them all!

There are also many ways to customise it, so you can adjust, lengthen your top as much as you want!

Material needed:

  • yarn (in this tutorial: Wunderkiste 5 ply by Sparwolle) - see table below for yarn estimation per size

  • Bolero top: hook - 5mm/H-8 in this tutorial - Shrug top: hook - 5.5mm/I-9 in this tutorial

  • darning needles

  • tape measurer

  • scissors

  • stitch markers

What will be done:

  • Bolero top: Two side panels: Each will be folded in half, one panel for the right (covering back and top) and left side (covering the other side)

  • Shrug top: Two panels: front and back, worked from the bottom up

  • Ribbing at the bottom of the top (optional)

  • Final result: Regular to wide fit
